Edit rental properties

You own an apartment, student room or studio that you love renting out. dobby simplifies your rental management. Find out how to start and end a lease below.

From the dobby menu, click ‘Tenants’, then click the third tile, ‘Start or terminate lease’. This will open the list of properties with tenants. You can adjust a property's lease by clicking on it.

Start and terminate a lease

At the top of the page, under ‘Departure’, you have the option to enter the end date of the current rental agreement. You can then select a new tenant and set the start date for the new lease.

Terminate lease

If you do not want to set up a new tenant but only terminate the current lease, select ‘No new tenant’. Lastly, indicate which properties your adjustment applies to. Click 'Save' at the bottom to save your changes. That’s it!
