Voting at the digital general meeting
Assistant dobby allows co-owners to attend the general meeting of the association of owners online. Learn how to cast your vote during the digital general meeting.
Cast your vote
After joining the meeting via the dobby website or app, the agenda items appear with any items up for a vote. When your administrator unlocks a topic, you can click through to the voting page and cast your vote. All the information on this topic is presented at the top of the page. In the middle, under ‘My Vote’, you can select ‘Yes’, ‘No’, or ‘Abstain’. Click one of these buttons to cast your vote. If you have been granted a proxy vote, you can cast that vote at the same time.
Viewing votes
Voting will proceed physically and digitally simultaneously. After a while, you will see the number of votes appear next to ‘My Vote’. There is space for the minutes at the bottom. This is where your administrator can provide you and the other co-owners with an explanation.
Click 'Back' at the bottom of the page to return to the overview of agenda items. You can always see here how you voted on previous topics. When the next agenda item opens up, you can cast your vote for it. This enables you and your administrator to complete the entire meeting together.
After all agenda items have been voted on, the administrator will close the vote. After the meeting, a brief overview of the results will be displayed. Transparency is paramount!
Properly complete the general meeting of the association of owners by signing the minutes.
